Have you missed the newborn window but want a babies photography session to capture your little one while they are still tiny? My most favorite age to photograph babies is 6-9 months old. Baby photoshoot at this age is a must-have!

This gorgeous little boy was 9 months old when I saw him again for his milestone photo shoot. I took photographs of him as a newborn, he was such a beautiful bundle of joy! I remember his newborn session well and I had a very lovely time taking photos of him and chatting with his beautiful mum.

I love it when my clients come back for another session for their babies during the 1st year. A baby photo shoot is so different from a newborn photo shoot. Your little one is so different. During the newborn stage we capture the beginning of your child’s life, babies are so new, sleepy and curled-up. At 6-9 months babies are usually very curious and happy. You love they big smiles and adorable faces!

Baby sessions are great at any age during the first year. My favourite age is when your little one has just learned how to sit independently, but not walking or standing yet. This ensures a wide variety of setups that we can achieve. 4 months old id another good age, this is when your baby can lay comfortably on the tummy. 1st birthday is a popular age to celebrate this amazing milestone, however babies are not so interested to pose for us at this age, they are very busy exploring the world. Some nice photos are definitely achievable at this age, however 6-9 months age is more productive.
