As one of the Sydney newborn baby photographers I try to capture your precious first days with your baby for you, so that you can remember and treasure them forever. Before you know it those early days are a blurry memory, and your baby is not a little newborn any more.

I come to your home for the session, which is often much more convenient for families than making the trip to a studio with a newborn. If you’d like to include your furry friends or the baby’s grandparents in the family photos, it’s also much easier to arrange when we’re at your home.

I specialise in posed newborn photography. I pose babies and families for each photograph although I try to not overly use props and accessories for the timeless look.

The best time for a newborn photo shoot with me is when your baby is less than two weeks old. 

During this time babies are sleepy and can usually be settled through most of the session. Many babies enjoy being curled up as they were in in the womb, and this allows newborn baby photographers to capture lovely curled up poses, and all of the details that make your baby so adorable.

After the first two weeks babies usually start to stretch out and become more alert. This means that your baby may not be able to manage all of the poses.

For this reason it’s best to book your newborn photographer before your baby is born. When you book I just make a note of your due date, and ask you to get in touch once your baby is born.

If your baby is a bit older than 2 weeks, please feel free to get in touch, I am experienced with older newborns as well.
