What Happens During the Newborn Session

Every baby is different, so the whole session flows around your baby’s rhythm.
We keep it relaxed and flexible.

Here’s the usual flow:

1. Family and sibling photos first

We start with parents and any siblings. These images are warm and emotional, and doing them early helps everyone settle in.

2. Baby-only portraits

Then we move into simple, gentle baby-only photos.
I bring my full in-home studio lighting setup, soft blankets, wraps, so we can create clean, timeless newborn portraits right in your home. The style is soft, natural and minimal with some posing.

3. Breaks whenever baby needs

Feeding, cuddles, little pauses — they’re all part of the process.

What Happens After Your Newborn Photoshoot – Editing and Delivery

Selection and Editing

After the session, I select the strongest images and edit them in my soft, natural style.
Editing includes gentle skin correction, colour balance, and removing background distractions.

Preview Gallery Within About Two Weeks

Within about two weeks, I send you an online preview gallery with the edited images I feel work best. If you prefer different photos than the ones I selected, you can easily adjust the selection to match your taste and add extra images if you’d like more than your package includes.

Final High-Resolution Gallery

Once your selections are final, I prepare the completed edits and send you a download link with all the high-resolution images. You can save them, print them, and keep them forever.

Everything — selecting, approving and downloading — is done online.
